New Designs

All custom designs at MzI Guitars start as a simple sketch.

As with all design and development we follow a process for each new design.  The first step is to create a basic sketch by hand.  The next step is to bring it into Autocad to firm up the shape, add dimensions and create a template for the actual guitar.  The plans and sections are printed at 1 to 1 scale which leads into the actual building of the prototype.  Once the prototype is completed two options are available, going back to the drawing board to solve further problems or continuing on with building the actual model.
